Brief Description

What good is running AWAY when you only end up lost?

Cassandra Pierce had her whole "perfect" life planned out by her parents. One night of pure weakness and lust has her running away from it all and seeking refuge in Alamosa with her best friend. But it seems life has other plans for her when she finds herself lost in the small town of Keaton.

Jason Bradley is a charming country guy. He lives a simple life that’s nothing like what Cassandra is used to. A single moment in life changed everything he thought he once knew, leaving him with a broken heart and an unplanned future.

What happens in Keaton is nothing Cassandra or her heart could have ever prepared for. The instant connection she shares with Jason is no secret, but what they're keeping hidden from one another is. Will these two be able to find a way to trust each other or will their secrets tear them apart?

  • Absolutely amazing story

    By HGDuty
I have NEVER written a review before, this is definitely a first. I have to say that the story reeled me in from the very beginning. I was touched by the relationship that developed between Cassie and Jase. It spoke to my heart and it broke my heart. All the difficulties the two of them faced and I know there is more to the story. Thank you writing such a touching story.
  • Emotional !!!

This is probably the most emotional book I’ve ever read. I loved every minute of it/ Eshel
  • Recommended Highly

Never have I laughed, smiled and cried while reading a book as I did with this one. I forced myself to put it down to get work done or to get at least 2-3 hours of sleep before having to begin my day. I did have the misfortune of having to reapply my makeup before leaving for work by making the mistake of reading while getting ready when I unexpectedly began crying. This is a book I will read again. It was very easy to fall head over heels for Jase. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who is a hopeless romantic.

  • Away!

    By Taylor9825
Really enjoyed this book; but it seemed incomplete with family history with the brother.
  • Couldn't stop the tears.

Thank you for sharing this amazing story. I was riveted from the first page. I read the book in two evenings. My husband asked what I was crying about, and I told him that the book I was reading sucked me in so far I felt like I knew Cassie and Jase. I felt their fear, love, anger and anguish as if it were my own. I read a lot, and I haven't been so moved by a story in a long time. Outstanding debut! You have a lifelong fan in me. Moving on now to Stay, after I get another box of tissues.

Wow! What an amazing story! Full of so many surprises. Truly an emotional rollercoaster worth reading.
  • One of the best I have read

    By Nancy-Kent's mom
The characters are so real, the life situations duplicate so many of mine, the love so pure and innocent, the pain so real I cried. And, I don't and can't cry. But I did in heartbreak. I want the next story now. But give me time to wash my face with cold water.
  • Away

I have no idea why people like this book. I've read to the point where she finds out his secret and is so upset that she won't talk to him. He knew her secret and accepted and helped her the whole time but when he needs her she turns her back. This just reinforced what I've felt about her the entire read...she's childish and whiny and I don't like her character. This book is just too syrupy sweet for me; it almost seems unreal. Before his secret, I thought perhaps she was in a coma and was just dreaming all of this because it was so unrealistic. I've read enough of the reviews to know the end. I won't be reading the other books because I just don't care.
  • Get ready to UGLY CRY!

    By Nurse Andee
This book will tear your heart out in the best way. Loved the storyline and the characters were all amazing. I so wanted for Jason and Cassandra to get their HEA. But this story shows us that sometimes life happens and there's nothing we can do about it. Loved this story. So beautifully written.
