The # 1 New York Times bestselling sequel to Sarah J. Maas' spellbinding A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court--but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms--and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future--and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

I have never read a book as beautiful as this one. Whenever my life is so hard and I feel like I cannot go on, I read this book.

This book made me feel so many emotions, and I think that this series will be one of those series where every time I read it I’ll never tire of the plots or the plot twists (or the continuous hate and pity I feel for Tamlin the Tool).

I really enjoyed this series, but, it isn't for kids. Lots of explicit sex.
  • Best book 2 of a trilogy EVER

The second book of any series is often boring, as there's a lot of story and setup for the action packed book threes, however this was not the case here! Not only is it the best of the series, but one of my favorites ever written!

  • whoever gave a 1/2 will regret this

This book was fabulous in its own unique way. Maas gave good rhythm and tempo in the second installment, revealing facts I'd never expected to see after reading the first book. I loved the new characters as much as the old (ain't talkin bout u Tam da tool), which I found more stunning than the actual plotline. While there were some adventure, the majority of The Court of Mist and Fury is spent hanging out and having fun. In terms of action the series lost some "bang" compared to the first book. One peculiar annoyance was the issue of love interests. It seems like in both Throne of Glass and ACOTAR, Sarah J. Maas just HAS to give everyone a love interest. Even Amren, who is displayed as a feared woman, flirts with this guy from the Summer Court. You don't have to give everyone love Sarah!!! Personally I won't mind if even ONE character doesn't end in love. If it wasn't for (SPOILER ALERT STOP READING IF U HAVENT READ THE BOOK U WILL REGRET THIS A LOT) Feysand's split, I would have questioned why love is sooooooo important in this series in times of possible war against Hybern. Yes I understand that there is a third book coming so I have no idea what's actually going to happen. Aside from all this, ACOMAF is officially my favorite book. Even for all the love interests it didn't ruin any of the book.
